Bombing incident leaves seven injured, two critical in Odisha's Nayagarh

Nayagarh, Nov 12: During a violent clash between rival groups in Harijan Sahi, under Khadpada police jurisdiction in Odisha's Nuapada district on Sunday morning, seven individuals sustained injuries, with two in critical condition. The wounded encompass members from both conflicting factions.
The critically injured individuals, identified as Ranjith Nayak and Deepak Nayak, have been relocated to a medical facility in Cuttack for advanced medical care.
Allegedly, a group spearheaded by Ranjit initiated a bomb attack on their adversaries due to prior animosity. The detonation of one of these devices resulted in the injury of seven villagers.
Upon receiving information, a team from the Khadpada police station swiftly intervened, stabilizing the situation. The police promptly transported the injured to the local Gania Hospital. Subsequently, the two critically wounded persons were transferred to Cuttack for further medical attention.
