Bhubaneswar, Aug 30: The Odisha Police Recruitment Board has officially announced the schedule for the written examination to recruit Sub-Inspectors (S.I.) of Police and equivalent ranks. The much-awaited OMR-based test will be conducted on October 4 and 5, 2025, across designated centers in various districts of the state.

Eligible candidates who have applied for the posts must download their Admit Cards from the official Odisha Police website, https://odishapolice.gov.in , beginning September 20, 2025. Access to the admit cards will be available only through the candidate’s registered User ID and Password.

“The candidates are advised to download their Admit Cards to know the details about the Examination Centre and schedule of the examination from September 20 onwards,” the official notification stated.

The Recruitment Board has further urged aspirants to remain in constant touch with the Odisha Police website for updates regarding the examination and related announcements. Authorities have also advised candidates to carefully follow the instructions mentioned in the Admit Cards to avoid any last-minute inconvenience.

The recruitment drive is expected to draw a large number of aspirants, reflecting the keen interest among Odisha’s youth in serving the police force.
