Rahul Gandhi to visit Odisha in November-December to revive Congress fortunes

Bhubaneswar, Aug 30: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi is likely to visit Odisha in November and December this year as part of an extensive campaign program designed by the Odisha Pradesh Congress Committee (OPCC).
Pradesh Congress President Bhakta Charan Das informed that Gandhi’s visit will be a major push for the party, which is working to reconnect with the people of the state after years of political setbacks.
According to Das, the proposed programs will focus on issues that directly affect the masses, including allegations of vote theft, the rising problem of poverty, and growing concerns over women’s safety. Gandhi is expected to take part in roadshows, public rallies, and district-level meetings aimed at mobilizing grassroots workers and strengthening the party’s presence across Odisha.
The visit carries significance as the Congress has been out of power in Odisha for over two decades, with its last government formed in 1995. The party leadership believes that Rahul Gandhi’s presence will energize the cadre, boost morale, and help the Congress reclaim lost political ground in the state ahead of upcoming electoral battles.
