Khimji Jewellers Celebrates RAJA MAUJA with Grand Festivities Across Odisha

Bhubaneswar: Khimji Jewellers, Odisha’s premier jewellery brand with a legacy of trust spanning nine decades, successfully concluded its grand three-day Raja Mauja celebrations, reaffirming its deep commitment to Odisha’s cultural heritage and community engagement.

Held from June 14 to 16, the festivities were simultaneously organized across all eleven Khimji Jewellers showrooms and six premium residential societies, bringing the spirit of Raja Mauja to thousands of patrons and residents across the capital region.

Raja , one of Odisha’s most cherished festivals, celebrates the onset of monsoon, the fertility of Mother Earth, and the spirit of womanhood. Embracing these values, Khimji Jewellers curated a unique festive experience dedicated to women, families, and communities.

As part of its outreach initiative, the brand partnered with residential societies including Royal Lagoon, Mani Tribhuvan, Assotech World, Landmark Phase II, Hi Tech Plaza, and Utkal Heights. Beautifully decorated traditional swings (Doli), 360-degree selfie booths, fun games, and festive activities transformed these communities into vibrant cultural hubs. Traditional snacks and exciting prizes further added to the celebratory atmosphere and strengthened community bonding.

Simultaneously, all Khimji Jewellers outlets witnessed enthusiastic participation from customers who enjoyed complimentary mehendi designs by expert artists, traditional Raja delicacies such as Poda Pitha and Raja Paan, and specially curated Raja-themed décor that created an immersive festive experience.

The celebrations received an overwhelming response from customers and residents alike, further reinforcing Khimji Jewellers’ position as a brand deeply rooted in Odisha’s traditions and values.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Mitesh Khimji, Managing Director, Khimji Jewellers, said, “Raja is not merely a festival; it is a celebration of Mother Earth’s fertility and a tribute to the strength, grace, and spirit of womanhood. At Khimji Jewellers, we have always believed in preserving and promoting Odisha’s rich cultural heritage. Through these celebrations, our endeavour was to bring families together and create joyful, memorable experiences for the women of Odisha. The overwhelming love and appreciation we have received inspire us to continue nurturing these beautiful traditions for generations to come.”

Through this extensive initiative, Khimji Jewellers once again demonstrated its commitment not only as a leading jewellery brand but also as a proud custodian of Odia culture and traditions.
