Bhubaneswar : President Draupadi Murmu will be the chief guest at the 5th convocation ceremony of AIIMS Bhubaneswar. The ceremony, to be held on Monday, 14th of this month, will see the President confer degrees on 643 healthcare professionals.

They include 196 medical students, 158 specialist (PG) doctors, 49 super specialty (DM/MCh), 21 post-doctoral fellows (PDF), 116 BSc Nursing, 62 BSc Paramedical, 41 MSc Nursing students. In recognition of their exceptional academic performance, 31 meritorious students including 17 medical students, 1 MD/MS, 1 DM/MCh, 3 BSc Nursing, 7 BSc Paramedical, 2 MSc Nursing students will be awarded gold medals.

Governor Hari Babu Kambhampati, Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, Health Minister Mukesh Mahaling, Bhubaneswar MP Aparajita Sarangi will be prominently present at the convocation ceremony, informed Dr. Ashutosh Tithmar, Executive Director of Bhubaneswar M.S.
