CHSE Odisha begins Plus II answer sheet evaluation; results expected by mid-May

Bhubaneswar, April 2: The Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE), Odisha, has commenced the evaluation of Plus II answer sheets from today. Around 8,000 teachers have been assigned to assess the answer scripts of students who appeared for the board exams this year.
The evaluation process will be conducted at 78 designated centers spread across 30 districts of Odisha. It will take place in two phases: the first phase, from April 2 to 14, will involve 7,000 teachers, while the second phase, from April 16 to 28, will see around 8,000 teachers engaged in the process. The CHSE aims to complete the evaluation by April 28, with results expected between May 10 and 15.
Considering the ongoing heatwave conditions, the board has introduced two shifts for evaluation: the morning session from 7:30 AM to 12:30 PM and the afternoon session from 1:30 PM to 6:30 PM, ensuring the comfort of teachers.
This year, a total of 3.9 lakh students appeared for the exams in Arts, Commerce, Science, and Vocational streams. Around 24 lakh answer sheets will be evaluated using both online and offline methods. To maintain transparency, any answer sheet receiving zero marks will be re-evaluated by two separate teachers.
