Amit Shah to visit Odisha on March 22-23; to inaugurate key projects

Bhubaneswar, March 12: Union Home Minister Amit Shah is set to embark on a two-day visit to Odisha on March 22 and 23 to inaugurate and lay the foundation stone for several major projects aimed at strengthening the state’s infrastructure and emergency services.
As per official sources, Shah will arrive in Bhubaneswar on March 22, with the final itinerary still being confirmed. During his visit, he will lay the foundation stone for ten new fire stations, which will be constructed under the 15th Finance Commission’s upgradation grant, enhancing Odisha’s fire safety infrastructure. Additionally, he will flag off 25 Rapid Response Vehicles, which will be deployed along key highways to provide swift assistance in road traffic accidents.
Beyond his official engagements, Shah is expected to meet with senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leaders in the state to discuss organizational strategies and upcoming political developments. His visit highlights the central government’s commitment to improving Odisha’s public safety framework while also reinforcing the BJP’s presence ahead of crucial political events.
