Miscreants loot donation box of Maa Sarala Temple
Jagatsinghpur, Dec 14: Unidentified individuals reportedly pilfered funds from the donation box of Maa Sarala Temple in Jagatsinghpur district last night.
The incident came to light this morning when the temple priest discovered the broken donation box and promptly informed the local community and the police.
Upon receiving the information, the police arrived at the scene to assess the situation. Preliminary findings indicate that the culprits utilized a cutter to forcibly open the donation box. However, they did not abscond with the entire sum, making off with approximately 15-20% of the funds.
Authorities are currently scrutinizing the CCTV footage from the temple to gather more information. An investigation has been initiated, and efforts are underway to identify and apprehend those responsible.
