Bhubaneswar, July 3: Renowned sand artist and Padma Shri awardee Sudarsan Pattnaik is facing a serious cyber breach as his official Twitter (now X) account, @Sudarsansand, has been hacked and remains compromised for the past five days. Despite repeated attempts to regain access, the issue persists.

Pattnaik confirmed that he has filed a formal complaint with the Cyber Cell of Odisha Police and also reached out to the X (Twitter) Support Team. “I have taken all necessary steps, including informing the authorities and reporting the matter to the platform’s support team, but the account is still under the hacker’s control,” said the internationally acclaimed artist.

This is reportedly the second time his Twitter account has been targeted by hackers. Given his global fan base and social media influence, Pattnaik expressed concern that the compromised account could be misused for spreading misinformation or conducting fraudulent activities.

He has urged X Safety and Support to take immediate action and restore his account. Meanwhile, he has warned followers not to engage with any messages or activity from the account until it is secured again.
