Palak shines with gold, Esha Singh impresses with silver at Asian Games 10m Air Pistol event

New Delhi, Sep 29: Indian shooters Palak and Esha Singh showcased exceptional skill by clinching the top honors in the women's 10m air pistol individual event at the 19th Asian Games. Palak, aged 17, etched her name into the Asian Games record books with a remarkable winning score of 241.2. Meanwhile, 18-year-old Esha secured the silver medal with an impressive score of 239.7.
Earlier in the same day, the duo teamed up for the women's 10m air pistol team event, where they collectively earned a well-deserved silver medal.
Notably, this marked Esha's fourth medal achievement at the continental event, with her previous accolades including a silver medal in the women's individual 25m pistol event. She further showcased her prowess by teaming up with Manu Bhaker and Rhythm Sangwan to claim the gold medal in the women's 25m pistol team event .
