Men's 10m Pistol Team grabs gold at Asian Games

New Delhi, Sep 28: Sarabjot Singh, Arjun Singh Cheema, and Shiva Narwal secured a gold medal in the 10m Air Pistol Team shooting event during the Asian Games. India continued its impressive medal collection at the shooting ranges.
Following an outstanding performance the previous day, where Indian shooters clinched seven medals, including two golds, the pistol shooting team upheld India's remarkable streak by securing their fourth gold medal in the competition.
Sarabjot Singh, Arjun Singh Cheema, and Shiva Narwal achieved a combined score of 1734, an impressive feat that included a remarkable 50 hits in the inner 10 circle. This exceptional performance earned them the gold medal, surpassing China's score of 1733-62x and Vietnam's score of 1730-59x.
The Indian team's journey to victory included scores of 284 in the first series, followed by impressive scores of 287, 291, 294, 290, and 288 in the subsequent five series. This victory marked India's sixth gold medal overall at the Hangzhou Asian Games, showcasing the nation's prowess on the international shooting stage.
