Bhubaneswar, March 18: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted thunderstorms with lightning, hail, and gusty winds in several districts of Odisha over the next three days, from March 20 to 23. The weather forecast warns of wind speeds ranging from 30-60 kmph, prompting the issuance of orange and yellow alerts.

March 20-21:
Orange Warning: Balasore, Bhadrak, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, and Kendrapada (Thunderstorms, lightning, hail, and gusty winds at 40-50 kmph).
Yellow Warning: Sundargarh, Jajpur, Dhenkanal, Jharsuguda, Sambalpur, Bargarh, Sonepur, Boudh, Angul, and Deogarh (Thunderstorms, lightning, and gusty winds at 30-40 kmph).
March 21-22:
Orange Warning: Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar, Sundargarh, Jharsuguda, Sambalpur, Angul, and Dhenkanal (Thunderstorms, lightning, hail, and gusty winds at 50-60 kmph).
