J.P. Nadda holds key talks with BJP leaders in Odisha, meets Governor

Bhubaneswar, March 1: Union Health Minister and BJP President J.P. Nadda held crucial discussions with senior leaders of the ruling party, including Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, at the state guest house on Friday.
Prominent leaders present included Odisha BJP President Manmohan Samal, State BJP In-charge Vijaypal Singh Tomar, Organisational Secretary Manas Mohanty, Vice President Golak Mohapatra, and former Union Minister Bishweswar Tudu.
Sources indicate that the meeting, lasting over an hour, focused on party organisational matters, including the potential appointment of a new State BJP President and strengthening coordination between the party and the state government. However, party leaders maintained that the discussions were informal.
Addressing the media, BJP State President Samal dismissed speculation regarding leadership changes, stating that only casual discussions took place. He clarified that Nadda’s visit was primarily for an official engagement related to the National Health Mission.
Following the meeting, J.P. Nadda visited Raj Bhavan and met Odisha Governor Hari Babu Kambhampati.
