Bhubaneswar, Feb 3: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecasted dry weather across Odisha for the next five days, while shallow to moderate fog is expected in the early morning hours at multiple locations. The IMD regional office in Bhubaneswar issued this update in its mid-day bulletin on Monday.

Weather Forecast Details:

Day 1 (Till 08:30 AM, February 4, 2025):

Dry weather is expected across Odisha.

Shallow to moderate fog may appear in Khurda, Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapada, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Nayagarh, Angul, Dhenkanal, and Ganjam.

Dense fog warning (Yellow Alert) for Khurda, Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapada, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Nayagarh, Angul, Dhenkanal, and Ganjam.

Day 2 (February 4-5, 2025):

Dry weather likely to persist.

Shallow to moderate fog at a few places in Bhadrak, Kendrapada, Jagatsinghpur, Jajpur, Cuttack, Khurda, and Ganjam.

Dense fog warning (Yellow Alert) for Bhadrak, Kendrapada, Jagatsinghpur, Jajpur, Cuttack, Khurda, and Ganjam.

Day 3 (February 5-6, 2025):

Dry conditions will continue.

Shallow to moderate fog in Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapada, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Puri, Khurda, Nayagarh, Ganjam, and Gajapati.

Foggy conditions may also affect Angul, Dhenkanal, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Rayagada, and Koraput.

The IMD has advised caution while traveling in fog-affected regions.
