Police solve youth’s murder case in Baripada, arrest two suspects

Bhubaneswar, Dec 27: Police have cracked the murder case of a 33-year-old youth whose body was recovered from the banks of the Budhabalang river near Gumudihi under Baripada Sadar police limits on Thursday.
The deceased has been identified as Chandan Swain, a resident of Hindulia village under Marshaghai police limits in Kendrapara district. Police have arrested two suspects in connection with the crime. One accused, Ashish Singh, was apprehended at Balasore railway station, while the other was arrested from Jambani village.
According to reports, a villager spotted Chandan’s body partially buried in the sand and alerted the authorities.
