CM Majhi Laid Foundation Stone Of Project Worth Rs 1535 Crore On Janjatiya Gaurav Diwas

Janjatiya Gaurav Diwas (Tribal Pride Day)was celebrated in Bhubaneswar on Friday. Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi participated in the program held at Janata Maidan in Bhubaneswar while the main event of this program was held in Bihar's Jamui.
On this occasion, the Chief Minister laid the foundation stone of project worth Rs 1535 crore for the development of tribals. The Chief Minister paid tribute to Birsa Munda and said that Birsa Munda was a unique warrior of our freedom struggle. He said that the story of Birsa Munda's struggle is and will be recorded in gold. He said that the country and nation will never forget his contribution for the betterment of tribals.
The Chief Minister said that today is a day to honor the rich traditions of our tribal community. On this occasion, he also remembered the sacrifices and sacrifices of patriots like the great martyr Laxman Nayak, Ratna Nayak, Chakra Bishoi, Dora Bishoi, Rando Majhi. He said that these great fighters have made a significant contribution in shaping the history and culture of our country.
The Chief Minister said that 7,667 villages in 27 districts of Odisha have been included under Dharti Aba Janjatiya Gram Excellence Yojana and we are actively working for the successful implementation of this campaign.
The Chief Minister has laid the foundation stone for a project worth Rs 1535 crore for the betterment and welfare of the tribals. In this, 16 ashram schools will be upgraded to high schools. A total of Rs 240 crore will be invested as Rs 15 crore per school. Similarly, 13 secondary schools will also be converted into higher secondary schools. For this, an investment of Rs 286 crore will be made for each school at the rate of Rs 22 crore. 852 crores will be spent for construction of 426 primary school hostels. Similarly, Rs 100 crore will be invested for the construction of a tribal culture and heritage building in Gothapatna, Bhubaneswar. 50 crore rupees will be invested for the construction of Janajati Language Institute and 4 crore rupees for the construction of Janajati Asmita Bhawan in Gothapatna. Similarly, 3 crore rupees will be invested for the construction of 5 multipurpose centers.
