Heavy rainfall expected in Odisha until July 19

Bhubaneswar, July 12: Odisha is set to experience heavy rainfall from tomorrow until July 19, according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
On July 12, the IMD has issued a yellow warning for heavy rain at one or two places in the districts of Balasore, Mayurbhanj, and Keonjhar. There is also a possibility of thunderstorms with lightning in Sundargarh, Jharsuguda, Sambalpur, Bargarh, Balasore, Mayurbhanj, and Keonjhar.
For July 13, heavy rain accompanied by thunderstorms and lightning is expected at one or two places in Malkangiri, Koraput, Nabarangpur, Rayagada, Gajapati, Ganjam, Mayurbhanj, and Keonjhar districts.
Heavy rain may continue on July 14 at one or two places in the districts of Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar, Sundargarh, Jharsuguda, Bargarh, Sambalpur, Deogarh, Ganjam, Gajapati, Rayagada, Kandhamal, and Kalahandi.
The forecast for July 15 predicts heavy to very heavy rainfall at one or two places in Rayagada, Malkangiri, and Koraput. Additionally, heavy rain is likely in Ganjam, Gajapati, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, and Nabarangpur.
On July 16, heavy to very heavy rainfall may occur at one or two places in Gajapati, Ganjam, and Nayagarh districts. Heavy rain is also expected at one or two places in Malkangiri, Koraput, Rayagada, and Kandhamal.
