CM Mohan Majhi honors Gandhi, Vajpayee in Delhi

CM Mohan Majhi honors Gandhi, Vajpayee in Delhi

Bhubaneswar, June 29: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Majhi, accompanied by Deputy CM Kanak Vardhan Singh Deo and Pravati Parida, paid tribute to Mahatma Gandhi at Rajghat in Delhi on Saturday morning. They also honored former Prime Minister Atal Bihar Vajpayee at Sadaiv Atal.

Following his swearing-in as CM, Mohan Charan Majhi held discussions with President Droupadi Murmu, Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar, and Prime Minister Narendra Modi on various state-related matters. He also met Union Ministers Amit Shah, Rajnath Singh, Nirmala Sitharaman, Nitin Gadkari, and Dharmendra Pradhan.

During his third-day visit to Delhi, CM Majhi additionally met with Minister of External Affairs S. Jaishankar and Health Minister J.P. Nadda. Later, accompanied by his deputies, he visited Jagannath Mandir in Thyagraj Nagar and planned an evening visit to Jagannath Mandir in Hauz Khas, followed by a meeting with the Odia community residing in New Delhi.
