PM Modi set to unveil central projects during March visit to Odisha

Bhubaneswar, Feb 29: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is anticipated to make a visit to the state during the initial week of March to inaugurate several Central projects. This announcement was conveyed by BJP's co-in-charge for Odisha, Lata Usendi, on Thursday.
Scheduled for March 5, PM Modi's itinerary includes addressing a public gathering in Chandikhol, located in Jajpur district, where he will lay the groundwork for numerous developmental initiatives.
Among the projects slated for launch during his visit is the strategic petroleum reserve (SPR) at Dankari near Chandikhole. Despite being sanctioned in 2016, the strategic petroleum reserve project has faced delays in implementation due to challenges in the land acquisition process.
PM Modi's previous visit to the state on February 3 saw the inauguration of the permanent campus of the Indian Institute of Management, Sambalpur, alongside the unveiling of projects valued at approximately Rs 70,000 crore. Additionally, he flagged off the Puri-Sonepur-Puri Weekly Express during the same visit.
