Subhadra portal introduces opt-in facility for re-enrollment
Bhubaneswar, Jan 11: The Subhadra portal now features an Opt-In facility, enabling individuals who mistakenly opted out of the scheme to re-enroll and regain their benefits. According to an official press release, over 8,000 applicants have already availed themselves of this opportunity and been successfully reinstated.
The Women & Child Development (W&CD) Department has urged those who opted out in error to utilize the new feature, ensuring they are included in the scheme.
Meanwhile, preparations are underway for the disbursement of the fourth phase of the first installment under the scheme. However, the department has raised concerns over more than two lakh applicants who are yet to complete their e-KYC verification, a crucial step for receiving benefits.
Eligible beneficiaries can complete their e-KYC through the biometric method at their nearest Jan Seva Kendra or Mo Seva Kendra. The department emphasized the importance of completing this step promptly to ensure seamless fund transfers and prevent delays in receiving benefits.
