Millets to be added in marriage and other social functions

Millets to be added in marriage and other social functions

Bhubaneswar: Federation of All India Caterer Association (FAIC) President Narendra Somani inaugurated the day long 5th Catering Association of Odisha's Annual General Body meeting here at Bhubaneswar Grand on Wednesday. 

Altogether 300 members from across 20 districts were participated and discussed regarding their problem facing during their day to day events. 

Our motto is to serve quality and hygienic food in different social and official functions. Our members are realised that Millet is rich in protein,  vitamin B, Iron and Calcium yet free from glutens.  Now it's time to add Millet Idli, Upama , Dosa,  Biscuits, Cookies, Roti,  Ragi Laddu, Millet Khir, etc are in our menu in coming days, said CAO President Binaya Bhusan Patnaik. 

After adding in our menu card, we most pursue to our guests to avail the benefits of Millet products in their function. The CAO leaders will discuss with Department of Agriculture and Farmers Empowerment of Odisha to prepare a proper rode map to promote our indigenous products,  said CAO Secretary Debi Prasad Rath. 

Regarding organising a national level food festival,  FAIC secretary Kirit Budhdev said that Odisha is becoming the most favorite destination for hosting different national and international sporting events.  The national body will extend its all support to organise such food festival,  not only that to popularize Odisha cousins we will support the CAO to organise Odia food festival in different parts of our country.

Among others, FAIC Maharashtra Zone Chairman Vipul Bhai Badiani, FAIC West Zone Chairman Sunil Sonkhiya, CAO Chairman Anup Bagai, Patron Naba Ranjan Patnaik,  President Binaya Bhusan Patnaik, Secretary Debi Prasad Rath, treasure M Jaya Prasad Rao,  Advisor Prabodha Kumar Das. And other officials were present.
