IMD forecasts dry weather and fog in Odisha over the next few days
Bhubaneswar, Nov 19: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) in Bhubaneswar issued a weather update on Tuesday, stating that there will likely be no significant change in the maximum (day) and minimum (night) temperatures across Odisha in the next 4-5 days. However, slight to moderate fog is expected in certain areas of the state.
According to the IMD, dry weather is prevailing across Odisha, with a slight drop in minimum temperatures at one or two locations in the north coastal region. Elsewhere, there will be no major temperature fluctuations. The highest maximum temperature of 32.8°C was recorded at Paralakhemundi, while the lowest minimum temperature of 10.0°C was recorded at Phulbani.

Day 1 (Valid up to 0830 hrs IST of 20.11.2024): Dry weather is expected, with shallow to moderate fog likely in Jharsuguda, Sundargarh, Sambalpur, Bargarh, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, and Keonjhargarh.
Day 2 (Valid from 0830 hrs IST of 20.11.2024 to 0830 hrs IST of 21.11.2024): Dry weather continues, with shallow to moderate fog expected in the same districts.
Day 3 (Valid from 0830 hrs IST of 21.11.2024 to 0830 hrs IST of 22.11.2024): Dry weather is likely to persist across the state.
