Police Officers On Duty In Police Stations To Wear Body Cameras Soon
Commissionerate Police has prepared a new plan to deal with miscreants inside police stations . The officer in charge of the reception room of the police station will wear body cameras. It will record video and audio of people who come to the police station and cause trouble.
Police Commissionerate has started a pilot project before the DGP conference in Bhubaneswar. Then not only the results, but also the behaviour of the police will be recorded. As soon as the panic button is pressed, the entire incident will be recorded and the scene captured on the camera will be viewed directly by the Commissioner of Police and DCP.
It is said that this plan was made by the commissionerate police after the recent incidents in Bharatpur police station and Khadgiri police station.
