Fire engulfs private nursing home in Ganjam district

Bhubaneswar, July 22: A fire broke out at a private nursing home in Ganjam district of Odisha on Monday. The fire reportedly started from a gas cylinder and quickly spread throughout the building.
Locals noticed the fire and alerted the fire department. Firefighters arrived at the scene and worked to extinguish the flames.
The affected building housed Vivekananda Sishu Mandir, a flex printing unit, a pathology clinic, a medicine shop, and some rented houses. Fortunately, there were no major injuries or fatalities reported.
However, all the equipment at the nursing home, including surgical instruments, were completely destroyed by the fire.
