Cuttack, Oct 27: The Cuttack Municipal Corporation (CMC) has released an official notice, detailing the registration and leasing procedures for patrons and commercial spaces intended for businesses, institutions, and individuals during the upcoming annual fair. The registration period is set to run from October 30 to November 3, with the leasing phase scheduled for November 11 to November 15.

Distinguished patrons can secure spaces varying from 5,000 sq ft to 10,000 sq ft, while gold patrons will be granted areas ranging from 1,000 sq ft to 5,000 sq ft. The CMC has specified, "Lease options for businesses, institutions, and individuals at the annual fair are available. Each individual, business owner, or institution may obtain a maximum of three plots, each measuring less than 1,000 sq ft."

To register, interested parties are required to remit a fee of Rs 5,000 and complete the registration process between 11 am and 5 pm from November 4 to November 10. The leasing cost will be calculated at a minimum rate of Rs 50 per sq ft of the designated space.

For rides and other amusement spaces, the minimum registration fee is set at Rs 25,000. The leasing process for this category will be open from November 16 to November 17. The registration fee for temporary and similar businesses is fixed at Rs 1,000. All financial transactions are to be conducted through the online platforms provided by the websites www.baliyatra.org and Cuttack.nic.in.

The CMC has underscored that subleasing the allocated plots will be strictly prohibited, and substantial penalties will be enforced on individuals found contravening this regulation.

The highly anticipated Bali Yatra event is scheduled to take place on both the upper and lower Bali Jatra grounds from November 27 to December 4 this year.
