CM Mohan Charan Majhi holds 16th public grievance hearing, directs swift redressal
Bhubaneswar, Jan 5: Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Monday conducted the 16th public grievance hearing at the Grievance Cell in Unit-2, Bhubaneswar, reaffirming his government’s commitment to people-centric governance. People from different parts of Odisha attended the hearing and placed their problems directly before the Chief Minister.
After listening to each grievance, Majhi directed the concerned officials to take prompt and effective action to ensure speedy resolution of the issues raised. Emphasising accountability, he instructed departments to closely monitor progress so that citizens are not forced to make repeated visits.
In a post on social media, the Chief Minister said the trust and confidence of the people inspire the government to serve them with greater dedication. He described the present dispensation as a “people’s government” committed to narrowing the gap between the administration and citizens by making governance more accessible and transparent.
The grievance hearing witnessed participation from hundreds of people, reflecting growing public confidence in the redressal mechanism. Majhi underlined that public grievance hearings, transparent administration, and quick decision-making remain top priorities of his government.
“Your hope is our motivation. Every step we take is aimed at building a strong, prosperous, and developed Odisha,” the Chief Minister said, reiterating that no citizen should be deprived of justice.
