Bhubaneswar : CM Mohan Majhi chaired a high-level review meeting at Lok Seva Bhawan on preparations for the India–South Africa T20 International scheduled at Barabati Stadium, Cuttack on December 9.

The CM directed the Odisha Cricket Association (OCA) and the state administration to ensure error-free arrangements, emphasising that the event must reflect Odisha's reputation for hosting world-class sports events.

Referring to the recent explosion in Delhi, the CM underscored the need for foolproof security measures and instructed the police administration to maintain maximum vigilance to ensure public safety.

He further advised creating a green corridor for medical emergencies, alongside meticulous arrangements for ticketing, crowd control, traffic management, lighting, and fire safety.

The meeting was attended by senior officials including Chief Secretary Manoj Ahuja, DGP Y.B. Khurania, OCA President Pankaj Lochan Mohanty along with Sports Minister Suryabanshi Suraj
