President Droupadi Murmu's two-day visit to Odisha begins today

Bhubaneswar, Nov 26: President Droupadi Murmu is set to arrive in Odisha on Sunday for a two-day visit, during which she will participate in an event in Paradip.
This visit marks her second trip to the state this month, following a three-day stay in her hometown of Mayurbhanj and Sambalpur from November 20.
According to official sources, the President is scheduled to touch down at Biju Patnaik International Airport at 6 pm, where she will spend the night at Raj Bhavan. On November 27, Murmu will preside over the Boita Bandana ceremony, an occasion dedicated to commemorating the state's ancient maritime heritage.
Organized by the Paradip Port Authority on Kartika Purnima in Paradip, the ceremony will feature her virtually inaugurating a Multi-Model Logistic Park and laying the foundation stones for a new reservoir and water treatment plant for the Port Township. Additionally, she will initiate the next-gen vessel traffic management and information system.
During her visit to Paradip, President Murmu is anticipated to interact with members of the fishing community, further expanding her engagement with diverse segments of the local population.
