Tara Bahinipati Suspended From Assembly For 7 Days

Bhubaneswar: Tara Bahinipati has been suspended from Odisha Assembly for 7 days. Tara has been suspended by the Speaker for his disorderly behavior. Tara broke the Speaker's microphone in the Assembly yesterday. Tara Bahinipati also created a ruckus in the House today. While the Question Hour was going on in the Assembly, a scuffle broke out between two MLAs, Jayanarayan Mishra and Tara Bahinipati. The House could not function due to the heavy ruckus. From the beginning of the Question Hour, the opposition parties, Congress and BJD, were seen shouting. Members of both the opposition parties tried to climb the podium. BJD protested by raising the Jayanarayan issue. And the Congress created a ruckus in the House over the issue of harassment of women. Congress MLAs even protested by climbing on the reporter's table. On the other hand, the suspended Tara has announced that she will protest under the Gandhi statue all night. Party MLAs have reacted by saying that democracy has been assassinated and have demanded the suspension be lifted.
