Bhubaneswar, June 2: In a tragic development, Dinabandhu Majhi, the elder brother of Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, passed away on Wednesday following a cardiac arrest. His sudden demise has cast a shadow of grief over the Chief Minister’s family and well-wishers.

According to sources, Dinabandhu Majhi complained of severe chest pain and his family members immediately rushed him to Capital Hospital in Bhubaneswar for emergency medical treatment. Despite efforts to provide timely care, doctors declared him dead upon arrival at the hospital.

The news of his passing came as a shock to family members and relatives. Dinabandhu Majhi was residing in a government residential quarter at Lower PMG in Bhubaneswar.
