CM’s grievance cell to remain closed on May 4
Bhubaneswar, May 2: The Chief Minister’s Grievance Cell in Bhubaneswar will remain closed on Monday, May 4, 2026, due to the prevailing severe heatwave conditions.
According to an official press release issued by the General Administration and Public Grievance Department, the grievance cell located at Unit-V will not function on the said date as a precautionary measure to ensure public safety amid rising temperatures.
Officials stated that the decision was taken considering the extreme heatwave affecting several parts of the state, including the capital city. The move aims to prevent inconvenience and health risks to citizens who usually visit the grievance cell to submit complaints and seek redressal.
The department further informed that the next date for the grievance hearing will be announced soon through newspapers and other media platforms.
Citizens have been advised to stay updated through official channels and follow safety guidelines issued by authorities during the ongoing heatwave.
