Odisha matric results 2026 declared
Bhubaneswar, May 2: The Board of Secondary Education Odisha on Saturday announced the results of the annual High School Certificate (Matric) Examination 2026, recording an impressive overall pass percentage of 95.33 per cent.
The results were declared at a special programme by School and Mass Education Minister Nityananda Gond in the presence of Board President Srikanta Tarai and senior officials.
Out of 5,36,306 students who appeared for the examination, 5,19,251 candidates successfully passed, while 8,364 students remained absent. In terms of grades, 2,456 students secured A1, followed by 15,681 with A2, while a large number of students were placed in B, C, D, and E grades.
Among districts, Gajapati district recorded the highest pass percentage at 99.31 per cent, while Keonjhar district had the lowest. Notably, 3,310 schools achieved 100 per cent results, while three schools recorded zero pass percentage.
The examinations were conducted across 3,082 centres between February 19 and March 2. Students can access their results online and via SMS services.
In a first, the Board has introduced bilingual certificates in Odia and English, enhancing accessibility and convenience for successful candidates.
