Santosh Singh Saluja appointed PCC organisation in-charge
Bhubaneswar, May 2: The Odisha Pradesh Congress Committee (OPCC) on Monday appointed senior leader and Vice President Santosh Singh Saluja as the new In-Charge of PCC Organisation, assigning him major responsibilities related to the party’s organisational affairs in the state.
The appointment was made through an official order issued by the OPCC and signed by its president Bhakta Charan Das.
According to the notification, Saluja will oversee, coordinate, and streamline all organisational matters of the state unit. He is expected to play a crucial role in strengthening the party’s internal structure, improving coordination among different wings, and enhancing grassroots-level engagement across Odisha.
The move is being seen as part of the Congress party’s efforts to reorganise and energise its state unit ahead of upcoming political challenges. Party leaders believe that Saluja’s experience and organisational skills will help improve efficiency and communication within the party.
“Shri Santosh Singh Saluja, Vice President, OPCC, is appointed as In-Charge of PCC Organisation and will look after all organisational matters,” the official order stated.
The decision underscores the party’s renewed focus on building a robust and cohesive organisational framework in Odisha.
