Naveen grants exemption from ground rent for festive pujas in Cuttack
Bhubaneswar, Oct 8: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has issued a directive to waive ground rent fees for the celebration of pujas within the Cuttack Municipal Corporation (CMC) area throughout the upcoming festive season.
This decision, prompted by appeals from multiple puja committees and local MLAs, takes into account the cultural and spiritual significance of these celebrations.
During the forthcoming festive season in Cuttack, no ground rent will be imposed for the temporary setup of various pujas on government premises. This inclusive approach applies to a range of pujas, including Durga Puja, Kali Puja, Lakshmi Puja, and Kartikeshwar Puja, being observed this year.
