Dismembered body of youth found on railway tracks in Odisha's Nayagarh
Bhubaneswar, Oct 7: A dismembered body of a young man was discovered on the railway tracks in the Daspalla area of Nayagarh district, Odisha, on Monday morning. The gruesome scene was found near Madhupur, between Daspalla and Dihagan, where the youth's head was severed from the torso, with both parts lying on opposite sides of the tracks.
It is suspected that the youth was struck by a speeding train traveling from Daspalla to Bhubaneswar in the early hours of the morning. While the identity of the deceased remains unknown, locals believe he may have been from the Kutibari area of Nuagaon.
Upon receiving the information, the Government Railway Police (GRP) arrived at the scene, recovered the body, and sent it for an autopsy. The police have launched an investigation into the incident, treating it as an unnatural death. Further details are awaited as the investigation progresses.
