Odisha STF Seizes Leopard Skin , One Person Detained
On the basis of reliable information, a team of STF conducted raid with the help of Bolangir Forest Officials on 05.05.2022 evening on the road in between Tikrapada-Saintala under Saintala PS District-Bolangir regarding dealing/ possession of wildlife products by wildlife criminals, as a result of which one wildlife criminal namely Adikand Gheewala S/o. Parmeswar Gheewala of Dukel Charchara, Tikrapada PO: Jorabandh PS. Saintala Dist. Bolangir was apprehended.
During search One Leopard Skin and other incriminating materials were recovered from his possession. The accused person could not produce any authority in support of possession of possession of such Leopard Skin, for which he has been detained and handed over to Bolangir Forest Officials under Bolangir Forest Division for necessary legal action at their end. Enquiry is going on.
