BJP National President Nitin Nabin to visit Odisha on May 18
Bhubaneswar, May 12: Nitin Nabin, National President of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), is scheduled to visit Odisha on May 18 in what will be his first visit to the state after taking charge of the party’s national leadership.
According to party sources, Nitin Nabin is likely to attend a district-level training programme at the BJP state headquarters in Bhubaneswar. The programme is expected to witness participation from senior party leaders, district representatives, and organisational functionaries from across the state.
The training session is likely to focus on organisational strengthening, political outreach, coordination among party workers, and preparations for the next phase of the BJP’s campaign activities in Odisha.
Ahead of the visit, a crucial preparatory meeting has been convened at the BJP State Office in Bhubaneswar. The meeting, scheduled to be held in the forenoon, will discuss arrangements and finalise the detailed itinerary for the National President’s tour.
Senior BJP leaders, state office bearers, district presidents, Mandal presidents, and other key organisational leaders are expected to attend the meeting.
Party insiders said the visit is being viewed as politically significant, especially in the context of upcoming political developments and the BJP’s continued efforts to strengthen its organisational base in Odisha.
The proposed tour is also expected to provide an opportunity for the party leadership to review grassroots activities and interact with workers at different levels. Detailed schedules and programmes for Nitin Nabin’s Odisha visit are likely to be finalised soon.
