IPS Ashish Singh On Central Deputation
Bhubaneswar: IPS officer Ashish Singh has gone on central deputation. He has now been appointed as IG in the paramilitary force Indo-Tibetan Border Police or ITBP. The Government of India has issued a notification that he has gone on deputation for a period of five years or as per further instructions. He is currently working as OSD in the Home Department. He had come under fire during the last general elections. The Election Commission had alleged irregularities in the conduct of the elections. Later, he went on leave citing health reasons. Later, he was appointed as OAD in the Home Department.
