Security forces bust Maoist dumps in Boudh, seize explosives

Bhubaneswar, Nov 23: Security forces in Boudh district have unearthed two Maoist hideouts, seizing a significant cache of explosives and other items in a joint operation.
The operation, conducted by the Special Operations Group (SOG) and the District Voluntary Force (DVF), took place in the Kanapa and Kuakumuda areas under the jurisdiction of the Manamunda police station.
Among the seized materials were seven detonators, electric wires, mobile phones, chargers, and other Maoist-related articles. This is considered a major setback for the Maoist KKBN Division, which has been active in the region for several years.
The dumps were discovered during a special operation in the Bahabalakhol Reserve Forest on Thursday. Security forces have been intensifying efforts in the area to eliminate Maoist activities and ensure peace.
