BJP power play in Odisha: Nadda and Jaishankar spearhead campaign drive

Bhubaneswar, May 3: With the Lok Sabha and Assembly elections looming in Odisha, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is intensifying its efforts to gain ground in the state, leaving no stone unturned in its quest for power.
In line with its strategy, a roster of top BJP leaders is slated to visit Odisha to bolster the party's prospects and energize its cadre.
BJP National President JP Nadda is set to arrive in Odisha on May 5, 2024, for a series of meetings with party officials in Bhubaneswar, as confirmed by State BJP vice-president Golak Mohapatra on Friday.
During his visit, Nadda will also head to Cuttack to provide crucial directives to party workers and leaders, outlining the party's election strategy for Odisha, Mohapatra added.
Preceding Nadda's visit, Minister of External Affairs S Jaishankar will embark on a two-day tour of Odisha starting May 4, as disclosed by the BJP leader. Jaishankar is slated to engage with intellectuals and media representatives in Bhubaneswar, with similar engagements scheduled in Cuttack the following day.
Additionally, Mohapatra stated that various BJP leaders will traverse different regions of Odisha, conducting public meetings and road shows to galvanize support for the party's agenda.
