According to preliminary reports, the leopard was discovered hanging from a tree near a stone crusher unit located at the foothills close to the village. The incident has triggered outrage among local residents and wildlife enthusiasts, who have demanded stringent action against the culprits under the provisions of the Wildlife (Protection) Act.
