Bhubaneswar, June 2: The Odisha Higher Education Department has extended the deadline for submission of the Common Application Form (CAF) for Plus III undergraduate admissions through the Student Academic Management System (SAMS) portal. The new deadline is now set for June 4, 2025, at 11:45 PM, offering a three-day extension from the original cut-off date of June 1.

This decision was taken in response to widespread requests from students, parents, and guardians who sought additional time to complete the application process. Many applicants were reportedly facing challenges related to the uploading of documents and delayed exam results, which hindered their ability to meet the earlier deadline.

The department made the announcement through its official social media handle, stating, “On the demand of several students, parents and guardians, the Higher Education Department has decided to extend the last date for submission of U.G. Common Application Form (CAF) till 4th June, 2025, 11:45 PM.”

The extension has brought relief to thousands of students across the state, ensuring they have a fair chance to apply for undergraduate programs in government and non-government colleges under the SAMS system.
