Boudh Police crack entrepreneur murder case, arrest two within 12 hours
Bhubaneswar, May 1: In a major breakthrough, Boudh police arrested two youths within 12 hours of the brutal murder of young entrepreneur K. Manoj Patra, bringing swift progress in the high-profile case.
The arrested accused have been identified as 19-year-old Ashish Luha from Bapujinagar and 18-year-old Ashin Deep from Salibanka village. A special team led by Additional Deputy Police Officer (ADPO) Laren Rautray and operating under the close supervision of Superintendent of Police (SP) Rahul Goel carried out the arrests.
The incident occurred on April 27 near Jagdishpur Square under the Boudh police station limits. According to police reports, the accused attempted to rob Manoj Patra and fatally attacked him during the act. Key evidence, including a knife, a mobile phone, and a scooter, was seized from the arrested duo.
Addressing a press conference, SP Rahul Goel lauded the swift action of the investigation team. He confirmed that one more accused is still at large, and a manhunt has been launched to apprehend the third suspect and ensure full justice.
