New Enclosure Being Constructed For Tigress Zeenat
Bhubaneswar: Tiger Zeenat will be moved to a new enclosure. Zeenat is completely healthy. She is able to hunt, said PCCF Prem Kumar Jha. Zeenat will be moved to a new enclosure soon. A new enclosure has been built for Zeenat. After adapting to the enclosure, she will be released into the forest after observing the condition.
According to information, last November, tigress Zeenat was shifted from Taboda Dhaneri Tiger Reserve in Maharashtra to Similipal Tiger Reserve. From Similipal Tiger Reserve, Zeenat traveled to West Bengal via Jharkhand. In West Bengal, it first entered Jhargram district and then Purulia. The Forest Department took many steps to capture it. Zeenat is now 3 years old.
