Niramay Centers To Remain Open 24Hours
'Niramay' centers in government hospitals will be open 24 hours a day . Housing and Urban Development and Public Enterprises Minister Krishnachandra Mahapatra gave this order while reviewing the Odisha State Pharmaceutical Corporation at Kharvel Bhawan on Wednesday . Along with this, the Minister advised to speed up the procurement and distribution of medicines on time to reach the common patients as required. The Minister said to further complement the functioning of the Corporation by employing the required number of employees in the coming days.
The Minister directed to take steps to make the Pandit Raghunath Murmu (PRM) Medical College and Hospital established at Baripada self-sufficient. The meeting emphasized on providing all necessary medical equipment, beds and related facilities to the college. The managing director of the corporation, Puma Tudu, presented information on procurement and distribution of medicines and medical equipment from district hospitals to primary health centers and all government medical colleges in the state. The corporation continues to deliver medicines to patients in all government hospitals. He said that the corporation is working towards the successful implementation of the state government's schemes like distribution of Khushi , Sampurna and medicated mosquito nets. In the review meeting, Secretary of Public Enterprises T. AO, Special Administrative Secretary Nihar Ranjan Das, DMET Professor Satya Mishra and other senior officials of the Corporations and Public Enterprises Department were present.
