Bhubaneswar, Nov 19: The Winter Session of the Odisha Legislative Assembly is scheduled to begin on November 26 and will run until December 31, according to Parliamentary Affairs Minister Mukesh Mahaling. Prior to the session, Speaker Surama Padhy will convene an all-party meeting to discuss the management and smooth functioning of the House.

The Winter Session will have a total of 25 working days, during which several important Bills are expected to be introduced and discussed. Additionally, the state government plans to present the supplementary budget for the year.

Minister Mahaling emphasized that the government is fully prepared to address and engage in discussions on any issues raised by the Opposition during the session. This marks a critical period for legislative business in Odisha as the government looks to push forward its legislative agenda while responding to opposition concerns.
