CM Majhi enjoys tea with old friends, felicitates long-serving tea seller in Keonjhar

Bhubaneswar, Sept 21: Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, currently on a three-day visit to Keonjhar, took a moment to unwind and reconnect with his roots by spending time with old friends and honoring a local tea stall owner on Saturday.
During a break from his busy schedule, Majhi visited Keonjhar Stadium, where he enjoyed tea at his favorite stall, a place he had frequented for years. After a morning walk, he shared a glass of black tea with his friends, reminiscing about past memories.
Majhi praised the tea stall owner, affectionately called Bideshi Babu, for his dedication of over six decades. The Chief Minister also felicitated Bideshi Babu, saying, "I’ve come here to have 'desi' tea from Bideshi Babu."
During the visit, Majhi reflected on his regular morning walks and conversations with friends, including journalists, retired officials, athletes, and locals, all focused on Keonjhar’s development. He assured that his government is committed to taking steps for the district’s comprehensive growth, envisioning a future free from poverty and where natural resources are effectively utilized for progress and prosperity.
