BJD unveils sixth list of candidates for Odisha assembly elections
Bhubaneswar, April 20: Biju Janata Dal (BJD) President and Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik revealed the sixth installment of party candidates for the upcoming Assembly elections in Odisha on Saturday.
Patnaik unveiled the candidate names via a video message today. Notably, Ollywood actress Varsha Priyadarshini, who recently joined the regional party, secured the party's nomination to contest from the Barchana Assembly constituency.
Ganeswar Behera, a recent BJD entrant following his resignation from the Congress, will vie for the Kendrapara Assembly seat.

Andandpur: Abhimanyu Sethi
Saraskana: Debasish Marandi
Karanjia: Basanti Hembrum
Remuna: Bidyasmita Mahalik
Simulia: Subhasini Sahu
Barchana: Varsha Priyadarshini
Kendrapara: Ganeswar Behera
Champua: Sanatan Mahakud
