Odisha CM’s Public Grievance Hearing cancelled on August 31
Bhubaneswar, Aug 29: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi’s “Jana Abhiyoga Sunani” (Public Grievance Hearing) programme scheduled for Monday, August 31, 2026, will not be held due to his other important engagements, the General Administration and Public Grievance Department said on Saturday.
In an official release, the department informed the public that the Chief Minister’s scheduled public grievance hearing on August 31 would remain closed.
The programme provides citizens with an opportunity to directly present their grievances and concerns before the Chief Minister and seek appropriate intervention from the government. With the cancellation of Monday’s hearing, people planning to attend the programme will have to wait until the next date is announced.
The department clarified that the date of the next “Jana Abhiyoga Sunani” programme will be communicated to the general public through newspapers and other mass media.
Citizens who intend to submit their grievances before the Chief Minister have been advised to keep track of official announcements regarding the next hearing date. The government is expected to announce the revised schedule through appropriate public communication channels.
The cancellation is temporary and is attributed to the Chief Minister’s other important engagements. The public grievance hearing will resume once a new date is notified by the government.
Citizens are therefore requested to take note of the change and await the official announcement regarding the next “Jana Abhiyoga Sunani” programme.
