Bhubaneswar, Aug 14: The Board of Secondary Education (BSE), Odisha, has extended the last date for registration for the Odisha Secondary School Teacher Eligibility Test (OSSTET)-2026, providing additional time to eligible candidates who are yet to complete the application process.

According to a notification issued by the Board on August 1, 2026, the registration window for OSSTET-2026 was originally scheduled to remain open from August 3 to August 17, 2026. The Board has now extended the deadline following its decision to provide candidates with more time to submit their applications.

Under the revised schedule, candidates can now complete their registration and submit the application until midnight of August 23, 2026.

The extension is expected to benefit eligible aspirants who may have been unable to register within the earlier deadline due to various reasons. Candidates have been advised not to wait until the final day and complete the application process well in advance to avoid possible technical difficulties or last-minute issues.

Eligible candidates who have not yet registered can apply through the official online portal of the Board of Secondary Education, Odisha, Cuttack.

The Board has advised applicants to carefully check the prescribed eligibility criteria, examination fee, required documents and other instructions before submitting their applications.
